SPWLA Indonesia Chapter proudly presents the post-event of Asia Pacific Technical Symposium 2018 ‘Core Workshop: Core Evaluation for Petrophysical Analysis’ on Thursday, 20 Dec 2018 at Exploration I Building, Lemigas Office. A full day workshop in which participants will learn the technical specifics of core-description distributed between siliciclastic and carbonate environments. Hands-on core workshop will be help participants learn how to identify facies and depositional environments from core-interpretation, and predict reservoir geometry and connectivity. The workshop will be accomplished through a combination of class-room lectures and hands-on core description sessions. Participants will learn the best practices/workflows for tying core-derived stratigraphic data with porosity-permeability, fluid properties, XRD and other relevant data for comprehensive reservoir characterization.
