Well image data can be taken from some logging tools such as FMI, EMI or STAR. In order to interpret well image, Well # TBB-01 in the Tambun Field, operated by Pertamina, use the STAR Log which is logged by Atlas Baker. From well images we could make some interpretation about lithology, •.sedimentary structure, fractures, faults, facies and depositional environtment. At 1818-2093 m interval depth of TBB — 01 , lithology of the Batu Raja Formation can be devided into several facies based on STAR image interpretation, completion log and petrophysical analysis. Batu Raja Formation consists of carbonate rocks which vertically different in facies. It consist of 13 facies in the 45 intervals / zones. Batu Raja Formation was generally deposited in the shallow, marine carbonate shelf especially in the high energy outer shelf, back barrier’ inner shelf and also in subtidal inner shelf There are some flooding surfaces event which is picked in the Batu Raja Formation. It can be used as marker for stratigraphic correlation. The result of TBB-01 well image interpretation show some’,’fractures, minor fault indication, inclined bedding, and hummotky cross stratification. The carbonate facies include wackestone, packstone, grainstone, rudstone and dolostone.
